More importantly, Priscilla was publicly using the Presley name while Elvis was still alive.

And Elvis himself publicly referred to her as his ex-wife, Priscilla, during a 1974 concert.

That doesn’t automatically settle every legal question surrounding the use of the name—but it demonstrates why sensational claims about what Elvis supposedly “forbade” should be examined against actual documents and historical evidence rather than repeated as fact.
