A personal keepsake from Elvis and Priscilla’s May 1, 1967 wedding is being offered for sale for the first time — and what makes the story even more intriguing is that the album is not alone.
Alongside it are three rare color photographs showing Elvis, Priscilla, and their newborn daughter, Lisa Marie, at Graceland in 1968.
The collection offers something fans rarely get to see: Elvis Presley away from the stage, away from the screaming crowds, and inside the private world he shared with his young family.
And the story begins with secrecy.
Priscilla later described the journey to their Las Vegas wedding almost like a game of hide-and-seek. The couple wanted to avoid unnecessary attention, and the logistics were carefully arranged. There were planes, close friends, and a deliberately private ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel.
On May 1, 1967, Elvis Presley and Priscilla were married.
The ceremony was remarkably small. According to Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen, only 14 close friends and family members attended the ceremony, which lasted approximately eight minutes before the couple faced the press and a larger reception.
But one of the most interesting objects from that day did not remain with Elvis or Priscilla.
It went to Priscilla’s parents, Joseph and Ann Beaulieu.
The album being offered contains 30 original black-and-white photographs from the wedding. The cover is stamped in gold with the names “Priscilla and Elvis Presley, May 1st, ’67,” along with a dedication identifying Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beaulieu and referencing Colonel Tom Parker.
According to Bruun Rasmussen, only around 10 copies of this special album may have been given as personal gifts.
That makes the Beaulieu family’s copy especially intriguing.
But there is another layer to the story.
Before Elvis and Priscilla married, her parents had not simply accepted the relationship without concern. Priscilla was still a teenager when her relationship with Elvis began, while Elvis was already an internationally famous entertainer.
Priscilla recalled that her parents struggled to understand what Elvis could possibly be discussing with their daughter during the long telephone calls.
Yet Elvis continued to maintain the relationship.
He called. He sent records. He talked to Priscilla about Graceland. And eventually, he persuaded her parents to allow her to visit him in America.
Priscilla has also recalled another deeply personal item from that period — a letter Elvis wrote to her and her parents while he was stationed in Germany. She later described it as one of her favorite possessions, particularly because Elvis wrote about feeling lonely.
Then came the wedding.
And almost one year later, another life-changing moment arrived.
On February 1, 1968, Lisa Marie Presley was born.
The three additional photographs included with the auction lot were reportedly taken at Graceland during the summer of 1968. They show Elvis and Priscilla with their infant daughter, only months after her birth.
One detail makes at least one of those photographs particularly fascinating.
Written on the back is a simple handwritten note:
“Elvis going fast to scare mother.”
It is not a dramatic statement. It is not a celebrity inscription. It feels like something written casually within a family.
And that may be exactly why these photographs are so compelling.
The wedding photographs show Elvis and Priscilla during one of the most important public moments of their personal lives.
The Graceland photographs show something completely different.

And Elvis trying to navigate fatherhood.
Priscilla has previously remembered how nervous Elvis could be when holding Lisa Marie. Despite being one of the most famous men in the world, he was still a new father who was afraid he might accidentally drop his tiny daughter.
She also remembered enjoying the rare domestic moments when she could simply take care of Elvis — making breakfast, preparing coffee, and doing his laundry.
For a short period, she said, she could have her husband mostly to herself.
That contrast is what makes this collection so fascinating.
In 1967, Elvis was the superstar desperately trying to keep his wedding private.
In 1968, he was a husband and a new father inside Graceland.
And for almost 60 years, these photographs remained on the family side of that private boundary.
Now the boundary is about to disappear.
Bruun Rasmussen has announced the collection for auction in Denmark, with an estimate of 100,000 Danish kroner, roughly $14,600 USD. The online auction is scheduled for September 21, 2026.
But perhaps the most important number is not the estimated price.
It is 59 years.
Nearly six decades have passed since the wedding album entered the Beaulieu family.
And according to the auction house, it has never previously been offered for sale.
The family has not publicly explained why it chose 2026 to release the collection, and there is no need to invent a dramatic reason.
